Functional defects

Repair or resolution

Following inspection, Revent will provide an appropriate remedy under this policy and UAE law.

1. Scope and duration

This policy applies to eligible refurbished products purchased directly from uae.revent.store. Your order confirmation or invoice and the warranty information shown on the relevant product page identify whether a product is covered.

Where a product is advertised with a 12-month Revent warranty, the warranty starts on the date the product is delivered and continues for 12 months. If another duration is clearly shown on the product page or invoice, that stated duration applies.

Keep your order confirmation or invoice. Revent may request the order number, product serial number, IMEI or other information needed to verify the purchase and warranty period.

Revent warranty and brand warranty

Products described as carrying a Revent warranty are assessed and handled by Revent or a service partner authorised by Revent. Products expressly described as carrying a manufacturer, brand or seller warranty may instead be subject to that provider's terms and authorised service process. The product page and invoice determine which warranty applies.

If a warranty card was supplied with the device, keep it with your invoice and provide it when requested. A missing card does not affect a Revent warranty unless the product was expressly sold with a separate brand warranty that requires the card.

This warranty is provided for the original Revent order and applies within the United Arab Emirates. It is additional to any rights you may have under applicable UAE consumer protection law.

2. What is covered

Subject to inspection and the exclusions below, the warranty covers a confirmed hardware defect that prevents the product from operating as intended during normal use. This may include:

  • Defects in covered materials, components or workmanship.
  • Failure of a core hardware function that was working when the product was delivered.
  • An internal component failure not caused by impact, liquid, misuse or unauthorised work.
  • A battery defect confirmed by Revent, excluding normal capacity reduction through use and age.

Available remedies

After assessment, Revent may repair the product through an authorised technician, replace it with the same or an equivalent refurbished product, or provide a refund or another remedy where appropriate and required by applicable law. The remedy depends on the confirmed defect, parts and replacement availability, product value and inspection findings.

If a covered product cannot be repaired within a reasonable period, Revent will explain the available replacement or refund resolution. A repair or replacement does not restart or extend the original warranty period unless Revent confirms otherwise in writing or applicable law requires it.

3. What is not covered

The warranty does not cover a problem caused by, or relating to:

  • Accidental damage, drops, crushing, bending, impact, cracked glass or damaged ports.
  • Liquid, moisture, corrosion, fire, excessive heat, sand, dust or another external cause.
  • Misuse, neglect, improper storage, incorrect charging, unsuitable accessories or use outside the manufacturer's guidance.
  • Opening, modification, repair or parts replacement by anyone not authorised by Revent.
  • Normal wear, cosmetic marks consistent with the purchased condition grade, or gradual battery-capacity reduction.
  • Consumables and removable accessories unless they were expressly included in the warranty and are themselves defective.
  • Software, apps, passwords, account locks, network or SIM issues, data loss, malware, rooting or jailbreaking.
  • A removed, changed or unreadable serial number or IMEI, or a product reported lost or stolen.

If inspection shows that a claim is outside warranty, Revent will explain the finding. Any optional paid repair, return-delivery or inspection charge will be communicated for approval before it is incurred.

4. How to make a warranty claim

  1. Contact Revent. Use the contact page or email care@revent.store and tell us you need warranty support.
  2. Provide proof of purchase. Share your order number or invoice, product name, serial number or IMEI and any warranty card supplied with the order.
  3. Describe the issue. Explain when the problem started and provide clear photographs, a short video or troubleshooting information if requested.
  4. Follow the service instructions. Revent will confirm whether remote troubleshooting, drop-off, pickup or inspection by an authorised service partner is required.

Please report the issue as soon as reasonably possible after discovering it. Information supplied for a claim must be complete and accurate. Revent and an authorised service or courier partner may use the contact and device details you provide only as needed to assess, collect, service and return the product.

5. Preparing your device for service

Before handing over a phone, tablet, computer or other data-bearing device:

  • Back up and remove personal or confidential data.
  • Sign out of accounts and disable Find My, activation locks and similar security features.
  • Remove passcodes, SIM cards, memory cards, cases, screen protectors and accessories not requested by Revent.
  • Pack the product securely, using the original box where available. If requested, include the charger or another accessory needed to reproduce the fault.

Inspection or repair may require the device to be reset, and stored data may be erased. Revent is not responsible for personal data left on a device or for removable items that were not requested for assessment, to the extent permitted by law.

Pickup and return delivery

  • Pickup and return delivery are available only in serviceable UAE areas and must be confirmed by Revent.
  • The address confirmed for the claim will be used for collection and return unless Revent approves a change.
  • The device must be packed safely. Damage caused by inadequate packaging may fall outside warranty coverage.
  • Give the courier only the device and accessories Revent asked for; keep SIM cards, cases and other personal items.
  • Any pickup, return-delivery or inspection charge that may apply to an out-of-warranty claim will be disclosed before it is incurred.

Inspection and resolution time

Revent will assess the product and provide material updates. Resolution time varies with the fault, availability of parts or replacement stock, courier movement and any information or approval needed from you. If an estimated timeline is available, it will be shared after the device is received or inspected.

Time spent waiting for access codes, account-lock removal, proof of purchase, customer approval or other required information is not counted as active repair time. If inspection shows that the claim is not covered, Revent will explain the finding before offering any optional paid repair or return service.

When your serviced device is returned

Inspect the package and device promptly. If it arrives damaged, a requested accessory is missing, or you receive a delivery confirmation without receiving the item, contact Revent as soon as possible—preferably within 48 hours—so the courier or service record can be investigated. This reporting guidance does not limit any right that cannot be limited under UAE law.

6. Returns, warranty and your rights

The 7-day return period and this warranty serve different purposes. The return period applies to eligible return requests shortly after delivery. The warranty applies to covered defects during the stated warranty period. Using one does not remove any separate right available under applicable law.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits a consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited under the laws of the United Arab Emirates. If there is a conflict, mandatory law will apply.
