1. Scope and responsibility

This Privacy Policy applies when you visit uae.revent.store, create an account, place or manage an order, request a return or warranty service, subscribe to marketing, or communicate with Revent.

Revent FZCO ("Revent", "we", "our" or "us") is responsible for the personal information described in this policy, except where another organisation—such as Shopify, a payment provider or a courier—processes information under its own privacy notice.

2. Personal information we collect

The information collected depends on how you use Revent and may include:

3. How information is collected

• Directly from you when you order, create an account, contact support, submit a form or request service.
• Automatically through cookies, pixels, logs and similar technology when you use the website.
• From service providers such as Shopify, payment processors, delivery partners and customer-support systems.
• From advertising and business partners where permitted and subject to the choices available to you.
• From fraud-prevention or public sources where reasonably necessary to verify or protect a transaction.

4. How we use personal information

• Operate the website, maintain accounts and remember customer preferences.
• Accept payment, confirm orders, arrange UAE delivery and provide transaction updates.

5. Who may receive personal information

• Shopify, which hosts and operates the commerce platform;
• payment providers and banks to authorise, settle, refund and protect payments;
• couriers, fulfilment and service partners to deliver, collect, inspect, repair or return products;
• technology, analytics, communications and customer-support providers that support store operations;
• advertising partners where permitted and subject to consent or opt-out controls;
• professional advisers, insurers, regulators and authorities where reasonably required; or
• a successor organisation involved in a genuine merger, financing, reorganisation or sale of the business.

Providers acting for Revent are expected to use information for the agreed service and protect it appropriately. Some recipients, including Shopify or a payment provider, may also act independently under their own privacy notices.

6. Shopify, checkout and payment processing

Revent's store is powered by Shopify. Information submitted through the website is processed by Shopify and may be combined with information about interactions with other Shopify merchants to provide, protect and improve Shopify services and certain personalised features.

Payment-card data is submitted to the payment service available at checkout. Revent generally receives a transaction status, payment type and reference rather than the complete card number. The payment provider's privacy and security terms also apply.

7. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Cookies and similar technologies help keep the store functional, remember preferences, measure performance, prevent fraud and understand which products or marketing are useful. These technologies may be set by Revent, Shopify or approved analytics and advertising providers.

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in the message; order and service communications will still be sent when necessary.

8. Security and retention

Revent uses reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal information. However, no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your account credentials and contact Revent promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, including order fulfilment, customer support, returns, warranty service, fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance and dispute management. Different records therefore have different retention periods. Information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer required, subject to lawful exceptions and backup cycles.

9. International transfers

Shopify and other providers may store or process information outside the UAE. When personal information is transferred internationally, Revent and its providers use safeguards required by applicable law, which may include contractual protections, approved transfer mechanisms or transfers to jurisdictions recognised as providing appropriate protection.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may ask Revent to:

• confirm whether personal information is processed and provide access to it;
• correct incomplete or inaccurate information;
• delete information that is no longer required or is processed unlawfully;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• provide eligible information in a portable format;
• withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis; or
• stop promotional communications.

Rights are not absolute. Revent may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required for contracts, fraud prevention, legal claims or statutory records. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for making a valid request.

To make a request, email care@revent.store with the subject “Privacy Request.” If your request concerns data processed independently by Shopify, you may also need to use Shopify's privacy portal.

11. Children's information

The Revent store is not directed to children who cannot legally enter into a purchase contract in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without appropriate authorisation. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied information may contact us to request review.

12. Changes, complaints and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes in services, providers or legal requirements. The revised version will be posted here with an updated date and any notice required by law.
